Complete renovation of a 55 m² apartment in Barcelona.
This project was unique because it involved an unconventional addition to the building’s rear patio, which my clients wanted to remove to restore the original volume and the original terrace. To achieve this, permission was obtained from the homeowners’ association, and the affected area of the rear patio/façade was renovated to integrate it as seamlessly as possible into its surroundings.
Inside the apartment, since we were removing 12 m² of roof space located in the rear patio, a layout modification was proposed to adapt it to the new area. The entire interior was renovated to include an open-plan kitchen, a double bedroom, a bathroom, and a living-dining room opening onto the private rear patio. The design and interior design were carried out in collaboration with the clients.
