Comprehensive rehabilitation of the main façade—protected and of heritage value—together with the rear façade, interior courtyards, roofs, electrical installations, drainage network, lift, and common areas of a protected finca regia. The building is a multi-family residential property between party walls, located in the Sant Antoni district.
The total area of intervention was 1,839 m².
The façades required particularly complex works, mainly due to the advanced state of deterioration of the balcony slabs. Special restoration mortars were used and, in cases where the stone slabs were fractured and beyond repair, they were replaced. Stucco finishes were also rehabilitated and reconstructed using lime-based mortars and mineral washes, in accordance with the building’s heritage protection criteria.
All works were supervised by the City’s Heritage Department, as the project applied for and obtained public funding upon completion of the works.
Project design, site supervision, management of public grants (Barcelona Posa’t Guapa programme), cost control, and quality supervision.
